We commissioned a team of leading architects, engineers and cost consultants to hold a “hackathon” and brainstorm the possibilities for student accommodation design including trends from our global experience in the sector.
The exercise covered all key elements of design including room typologies, mechanical and electrical services, structure and construction methodology. Thinking differently allows us to bring a range of ideas to a project – providing a constructive basis to challenge what may have been acceptable in the past to deliver the student residences of the future.
